PhD Reading Group

One of the first activities of ChiSRA was the launch in November 2013 of our PhD reading group. Members have been meeting fortnightly to present their research and discuss issues related to China. The meetings provide PhD students with the opportunity to discuss their work with peers and members of academic staff.

To date, the group have met to discuss such diverse subjects as the China Dream, digital literacy, ecological issues and urbanisation.

All PhD students and staff members of the University are welcome to attend. Please do get in touch (chisra@le.ac.uk) if you would like to join the group!
